”Rookie of the year” First Birthday. How fun is this little guy. All full milestone photography packages are completely customized to the them you have in mind. Whether it be a pink fairy tale first birthday, dinosaurs or baseball themed. I will work with you and together we will come up with some great ideas needed for your little ones first birthday. The cake smash is optional with the milestone shoot. I usually start with portrait like photos before things get a little fun and messy with the cake.
The details of a full milestone session is a 1 hour photo shoot and you also receive 40 digital images with print release. The cost is $325. I also offer a mini cake smash session which is a 30 minute shoot, 1 backdrop choice and 10 digital images. The cost is $225 for that package.

Newborn Photography often times can be a 2-3 hour session in order to capture the right poses and encourage the baby to sleep. Often times I have had families interested in a short and sweet session and not the full length process. I get it and understand it can be a long process and not for everyone. That is why I’ve added the mini newborn session that is a short and sweet session. Perfect for those that want a nice collection of photos but don’t plan to have their own photos taken.
The mini newborn session is a 1 hour session that is done whether the baby is awake or asleep. I really think beautiful photos happen whether the baby is awake or not. You still have full access to all of my high end accessories and props, your choice of items. The session does not include siblings or parents. In the end you get the choice of 12 print release photos with the option to purchase more.

Can you feel the love?! I hosted a valentine mini photography shoot for the first time in 2020. With Valentines so close on the eve from Christmas, I never knew if people were ready for photoshoots. Well, of course they are. And especially when its heart, kisses, pink and red themed. My minis this year took place in my home studio with an option of 2 different backdrop choices. This was such a fun and sweet shoot that I plan to continue for many years to come. My goals for 2020 is to offer many more minis throughout the year. When booking with Danelle Joy Photography the very first thing I like to do is a Pre-session consult. This can be done via phone or email and its my chance to understand your needs, style and goals for the photo shoot. After all, anyone can take some quick pics of your family, but you want more than that, you want treasured moments.
The Pre-session consult includes discussing the best type of package, location and expectations during the shoot. I am also always happy to include my professional opinion for clothing choices as well. I have put together many articles that focus on starting in your own closet first and adding little pieces of clothing into the mix. You don’t need to go broke just for the photo shoot. I usually recommend many of my clothing finds from Target, Tj Maxx and Old navy.
Since I understand it is a large investment, NEW this year and included with my Signature Family and Newborn sessions is a custom 8x8 photo book and Video. I believe after all, you should receive more than just digital images from your session. The photo book is hand selected and created by me, featuring the favorite photos. I am so excited to be offering a Video new this year. This will be a collection of behind the scenes and photos all put together like a slideshow. Oh cool is that.

Lifestyle Newborn Photography! Newborn photography session that focuses on more lifestyle candid photos of how life takes place naturally in the comforts of your own home. Fresh 48 Photography | Cleveland, Ohio | Lake County, Ohio
I am so very excited to announce the addition of the “Fresh 48 Photography Sessions” to my packages. You may ask, what exactly is the Fresh 48?
This type of photography is a special session for the those families who want the first few hours of their Newborn’s life captured without the labor or birth documented. The sessions take place at the hospital or birthing center within the first 24-48 hours of life. This session is also known more as a lifestyle and documentary approach of the the newborn and their immediate family. Please note this is not a traditional Newborn Session and I will not pose the baby or bring any props.
This is what you can expect during the Fresh 48. Once the baby is born and you are settled in your room, I will come to the hospital for your session. This is typically on day 2. Since I use natural light, I come during daylight hours. Between doctors, nurses, and visitors, we don’t have a large window of time for pictures. Sessions typically last about 45-60 minutes. This allows time for individual pictures of baby, pictures with parents, and meeting siblings. This will be my chance to capture your baby’s sweet new moments in a fresh natural way!
Most recently I also completed my safety certification for Newborn Photography. With this new certification along with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing (RN) I can ensure your precious little one will be in great care.

We were so lucky this November to have a such beautiful snow at the tree farm for the mini sessions. It was a little chilly, but the sun peeked out on Sunday to add a little warmth for all the families. A huge Thank You, to all the families who traveled out to Sugar Pines Farm my annual tree farm photography sessions. It was such a fun weekend and I enjoyed seeing familiar faces along with meeting new ones as well..

Figuring out what to wear for Family Photos can sometimes seem like a daunting task. But it doesn’t have to be. I often advise my clients to start in their own closets and look for solid color clothing options and only purchase a few new items. I highly recommend looking at local stores such as Target, Old Navy and Marshalls for great fall clothing finds. You don’t need to spend a fortune on your outfits, just a little planning in advance will help style your family for your next photo shoot.

Fall Mini Photography Sessions | Cleveland, Ohio | Lake County, Ohio
Its that time of year again with the cooler temps, leaves changing and shorter days. Even though I really love summer and that will always be my favorite time of year. There is something about the start and feel of the fall and holiday season. For me it also starts the busy my busy Family Photography Session season. I am usually busy all year round with newborns, milestone and family photography. The fall is my favorite time to host a few mini photography sessions. I only do about 3-4 per year and its a great time for families who only want a few pictures and a quick session. What is a Mini Session? And how is it different than a regular family session?
My regular family sessions can be booked at anytime throughout the year. I am always happy to work with the family picking the best day, location and of course outfits for their photoshoot. With my regular family sessions there is one price and in that price it comes with 50-60 digital images with copyright. The family also gets to choose any location they would prefer. Urban, beach, park or even their own home is an option.
My Mini Sessions are only done a few times during the year. The date and location is chosen by myself. The session is only 20 minutes and the family usually receives 10-12 digital images with the option to purchase more. Are the minis meant to replace a full family session. Not usually… There is no way I can photograph in 20 minutes what I would normally shoot in a full 1 -1 1/2 hour session. The minis are short and sweet but nice for families who like to get pictures done every year:)

I always believe photography sessions make the perfect gift and this present was for the parents to be. This little guy’s parent fought very hard for him and didn’t give up along the way.
